"Starting from my experience as a facial dermatologist, the more often they (patients) meet, the more often they have problems with spots, fine blood vessels on their faces, thin skin, dry. Even though they often have treatments, skincare is constantly being bombarded," said Tompi in a virtual press conference on Friday (27/8/2021).

"So, from the problems that Tompi found, we look for skincare that is simple and easy to find the ingredients. Because not everyone wants to use skincare with many steps. We discussed this for 1.5 years," continued Arti Indira.

From there, Tompi and Arti Indira successfully formulated skincare with ingredients that they guarantee to be safe. The director of the film Pretty Boys said that initially, they only made the product for the patients in their beauty clinic.

"Initially, I created this only for my patients. Because everyone liked it, we finally dared to sell it to the market," said Tompi.

So, what is the reason Tompi and his wife named their new product Geut by Dr. T?

"Geut means good in Acehnese language, then we looked for a loanword from another language and found that Good in English is the same as Geut," said Tompi.

Not stopping there, for their product, Topi and Arti Indira immediately collaborated with actress Ariel Tatum to become the brand ambassador. For Tompi, the star of the movie 'Selesai' is very suitable to represent his product.

"At that time, Arti and I were discussing with the Geut team, I always said that I wanted him to be the icon, he honestly didn't want to praise me for my work," Tompi concluded.
