Ve said that her family was once terrorized by irresponsible people who did not want her to become the champion of AFI.

Ve is one of the academies who always received good votes in AFI, to the point that her parents were accused of being top officials. Ve denied it all and said that her parents are just ordinary people.

AFI is synonymous with dragging suitcases for the academy contestants who are eliminated every week. Ve said that the contents of the suitcase on stage are empty and only symbolic.

Only Ve confirms that every week the contestants are indeed asked to pack their belongings into suitcases, just in case they are eliminated. But the suitcases containing these items are on the bus.

After AFI ended, Ve said that his career path was not always smooth. He even admitted that he had almost been evicted from his boarding house in Jakarta because he couldn't pay.

But Ve's life is better now. He has married Nobo, an Indonesian Idol alumni, and has one child.

Ve and Nobo still often sing off air, especially at weddings, mostly in Papua. Ve and her husband also have a martabak business.
