This drama, highly anticipated by fans since the casting announcement, showcases the strong chemistry between Wang Churan and Chen Zheyuan through various costume styles, ranging from modern casual wear to the magnificent hanfu of the imperial era.

Tales of the Floating World is adapted from the popular novel titled Fusheng Wuyu by Suo Luo Shuang Shu. This drama features a unit story format that spans four different time periods, from the Warring States period, the Tang Dynasty, the Song Dynasty, to the era of the Republic of China, with a continuous thread of love stories that connect across time.

Wang Churan plays Suo Luo, a thousand-year-old tree spirit who disguises herself as a beautiful but sharp-tongued pastry shop owner. Beneath her protective nature, her shop turns out to be a refuge for monsters. Throughout her life, Suo Luo once loved the Water God before eventually being destined to be with Ao Chi (Chen Zheyuan) and being blessed with a pair of twin children.

After a filming process of more than three months, the drama, which consists of 30 episodes with a duration of about 45 minutes per episode, finally completed filming in mid-August 2026
