Yessica Tamara alias Chika is one of the members of the idol group JKT48 who has been widely talked about recently. This is all after a photo of her being hugged by a boy went viral on the internet and was considered a violation of the Golden Rules as a JKT48 member. There is a rule that states that dating is prohibited while being a JKT48 member. As a consequence of the existence of that photo, the management also gave sanctions to Chika!
Yessica Tamara Siallagan, or commonly known as Chika, joined JKT48 in September 2019 as a member of the Academy Class B. One month later, she was promoted to Class A.
Chika then joined team KIII in April 2019. In March 2021, she moved to the new formation of JKT48. Chika became one of the most popular members of JKT48.
A few days ago, a photo circulated showing Chika and Ara with two boys, each referred to as Fajri and Fiki from the boyband UN1TY. Chika and Ara were suspected of going on a double date.
Before the 'double date' photo circulated, pictures of Ara, allegedly with Fiki, had already circulated. In the double date photo, Chika can be seen being hugged by a boy referred to as Fajri.
On Wednesday (25/8/2021), through a live stream on social media, Chika bravely admitted that she was indeed the person in the photo. She also apologized for this issue.
As a result of the circulation of the photo, Chika's activities were suspended until the end of October 2021. Meanwhile, Ara was expelled from JKT48 for being considered dishonest.
Chika also posted an apology on Twitter to her fans. The woman who will turn 19 next month also admitted to making the same mistake again.
