The DANDADAN anime has just released 3 episodes on Netflix, but it has already received a flood of positive reviews. Two aspects that are highly appreciated in the anime include its cinematography and music.

DANDADAN is adapted from a popular manga by Yukinobiu Tatsu, which has sold 3.2 million copies as of November 2023. With the skilled hands of the studio Science Saru (SCOTT PILGRIM), DANDADAN features very dynamic cinematography and a "jerky" pace that successfully highlights the essence of its story.

DANDADAN has also gone viral with the opening by Creepy Nuts, Otonoke. This Japanese music group previously went viral with their song Bling Bang Bang Born.

The premise of DANDADAN tells the story of two high school students who encounter ghosts and aliens. Their lives become thrilling from that point on. Let's get to know the characters who are just as unique and strange as this story.

Ken Takakura, or called Okarun, is the central figure in DANDADAN. He is an awkward young man, a geek who believes that a grand conspiracy about UFOs and aliens is real. Who would have thought, he would not only meet extraterrestrial beings but also wandering Japanese ghosts surrounding him.Okarun can transform into Yokai mode, which allows him to move very quickly.

Momo Ayase is Okarun's classmate. Her daily life is filled with supernatural occurrences because she lives with her grandmother, who is a shaman. Her encounter with Okarun unlocks her telekinetic powers.

As a shaman, Seiko Ayase can be said to be the sexiest and most eccentric in the world of shonen manga. She does not resemble the typical grandmother.Seiko arrives just in time when Momo and Okarun are cursed by a ghost in the early episodes.

Aira Shiratori is Okarun and Momo's classmate. Her introduction to Okarun and Momo begins because Aira is also haunted by a yokai figure. Later, Aira will become an important supporting character as the story progresses.
