Pouring a Lot of Money, Here are 15 Celebrities Who Failed to Enter Senayan

The first celebrity who did not pass to the parliament is Nisya Ahmad. Nisya, who was supported by the National Mandate Party, was willing to accept her failure to become a member of the Indonesian Parliament.

Like Nisya, Ayu Azhari experienced a similar situation. Supported by PAN, Ayu Azhari's voice was not too much and had to fail as a legislator. 

Being elected in the first period apparently did not make Kris Dayanti's name rise again. Supported by PDIP, Kris Dayanti, who is a candidate from East Java V electoral district, was willing to not be elected. 

Charly Van Houten, the vocalist of Setia Band, was supported by PAN. However, unfortunately, the campaign he carried out in West Java did not yield results. 

Ritchie Ismail or Jeje Govinda, the husband of Syahnaz Sadiqah, was willing to spend billions of rupiah for the legislative election. However, unfortunately, he had to accept his failure to reach the Senayan. 

Once elected as a member of the Indonesian Parliament, Anang Hermansyah tried again and joined PDIP. However, unfortunately, the vote count for this father of four children was not very good.

Thariq Halilintar became a candidate from PDIP for the West Java VI electoral district. Like Anang, Thariq's vote count was very low. He is confirmed to have failed.

Running as a candidate for the Central Java IX electoral district, Anisa Bahar often campaigned and met with residents in the area. However, she had to swallow the bitter pill of failure.

Endorsed by the Nasdem Party, Ramzi decided to take leave from several programs that he hosted to focus on campaigning. However, he was not elected.

Comedian Bedu, supported by the Gerindra Party, also had to accept his failure to become a member of the Indonesian Parliament (DPR RI). In the Jakarta III electoral district, Bedu received relatively few votes.

Another comedian, Narji, supported by the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS), also had to bite his fingers as he was not elected as a council member.

Giring Ganesha, a candidate from the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI), became the first-ranked candidate in PSI with the highest number of votes. Unfortunately, because PSI did not pass the parliamentary threshold, Giring also did not pass to the Senayan (parliament).

Having caused controversy by joining two parties, Aldi Taher finally chose Perindo as the party that supported him to compete for a seat in the Indonesian Parliament in the West Java VII electoral district. Unfortunately, he also failed.

Still from the same party, Vicky Prasetyo is confirmed to have failed to go to Senayang. Vicky failed to compete with the candidates in the West Java VI Electoral District.

Famous presenter Gilang Dirga also had to accept his failure to become a member of the DPR after losing to other competitors. In addition to Gilang, there are several other celebrities who also failed, including Yusuf Mansur, Arnold Purnomo, Aiman Witjaksono, Farhat Abbas, Choky Sitohang, Badai, Opie Kumis, Marcell Siahaan, and Krisna Mukti.
