Getting to know the figure of a comedian who is a graduate of SUCA 2, loyal fans of Stand Up Comedy must be familiar with the name Aci Resti. Born with the full name Resti Surtika, she became more popular after being crowned as the champion of Stand Up Comedy Academy (SUCA) season 2 held in 2016.

It is known that she used to feel less confident about performing in public, but now she is even cooler. She even starred in several popular films in Indonesia such as the movie Susah Sinyal (2017), Gila lu Ndro! (2018), and the movie Imperfect: Career, Love & Scales.

One of the films directed by Ernest Prakasa that involved Aci Resti was in the film Imperfect: Career, Love & Scales and in several film series she played as Prita. Together with Neneng Wulandari, Zsa Zsa Utari, and Kiky Saputri who became the icon of their togetherness in the film. Aci Resti is a singer, comedian, actress, and author who began her career in the entertainment industry in 2015. She was born on August 12, 1997 in Tangerang, Banten. She is the youngest child of a couple named Saptono and Surti. However, her mother passed away on June 9, 2012. Meanwhile, her older sibling's name is Irwin Sunarwin. According to some sources, she majored in Communication Science with a concentration in Broadcasting at the university in the 2019 batch.

2. Aci Resti's Career Journey

Aci Resti's career journey began when she dared to confidently perform for the first time at the Street Comedy season 5 event which aired in 2015 until she successfully made it to the grand final. On the other hand, it didn't start smoothly because her parents were not supportive when she decided to enter the entertainment world. However, she eventually convinced her parents through the achievements she gained. Aci Resti also revealed that it was her friend who supported her and invited her to attend the mini show event held by one of the stand-up comedy communities, Stand Up Indo Bintaro.

She also once shared her story through a seminar held by her campus about her self-confidence because her voice sounded like a child's and she had difficulty putting together sentences when performing in front of many people. But it didn't stop there, a year later Aci Resti tried again to participate in Stand Up Comedy Academy season two held by Indosiar. 

And her efforts were not in vain, she successfully made it to the final of Stand Up Comedy Academy and became the champion of Stand Up Comedy Academy season two, making her more well-known to the Indonesian people. Eventually, she chose to enter the world of stand-up comedy which made her more confident. Aci Resti also managed to defeat Arafah and become the first champion of Stand Up Comedy Academy or SUCA 2 with her outstanding performance. Currently, Aci Resti is busy with the launch of her book titled "Temenan Sama Nasib".

Starting with Ernest Prakasa inviting Aci to star as a mischievous courier in the film Cek Toko Sebelah. After a cameo appearance, she then appeared in many popular films such as Critical Eleven (2017), Susah Sinyal (2017), Gila lu Ndro! (2018), Milly & Mamet: This is Not Love & Rangga (2018), Imperfect: Career, Love & Scales (2019), and Gara-Gara Warisan (2022). From there, Aci Resti received offers to star in soap operas and web series, and she starred in the series Imperfect The Series season one and two.
