JKT48V is a fully virtual-based sub-unit of the JKT48 group from Indonesia, managed together with AKA Virtual. This sub-unit first appeared to the public through the "Kyoto Stage" during the second day of the Impactnation Japan Festival 2023 at Istora Senayan, specifically on July 30, 2023.

Since its official debut, JKT48V has released its first music video on August 22, 2023, titled Punkish. On the same day, they also held a virtual conference with two JKT48 members, Lulu and Marsha, to reintroduce themselves directly to the fans.

JKT48V is known as a quite active sub-unit that greets fans through live broadcasts on each member's channel. Not only through YouTube, but the members also utilize other social media accounts to maximize interaction with all fans.

This virtual sub-unit of JKT48 comprises three members: Kanaia Asa, Pia Meraleo, and Tana Nona. All three have beautiful visuals and unique styles, making them easily recognizable even to the general public.

The most 'noticeable' distinguishing feature among them lies in their hair. Tana Nona is identified by her short magenta pixie haircut that matches her eye color. Meanwhile, the other two JKT48V members tend to have longer hair than hers.

Pia Meraleo's distinguishing feature is her blonde hair styled into a bow. On the other hand, Kanaia Asa, who has scheduled her graduation date from JKT48V on May 30, 2025, has long light blue hair worn down straight with small braids at the back of her head.

3. Officially Released Music Video for the First Original Song

On May 14, 2025, JKT48V has just released their first original song since their debut. The song is composed by Aokuri and titled One Day We Will Meet. As additional information, REDSHiFT is responsible for the mix and mastering of the song, and Sagi for the tuning.

According to the information in the YouTube description, the music video for One Day We Will Meet is illustrated by AKA Virtual and designed overall by Dwikiazhar. The center chosen for this original song by JKT48V, which is also the last for Kanaia Asa, is Pia Meraleo.

The song One Day We Will Meet tells the story of someone who has to part ways with their friends because of going away for something. The group of friends wishes to always hold their hands, reluctant to waste the remaining time together if they had known earlier that a sudden farewell would come. Although the memories etched in their minds are still very few, those memories are sure not to be erased from each other's minds, and they promise to meet again in the future.
