Flora began her journey as a Kpop fan while still in elementary school. Her love for Kpop drove her to regularly perform dance covers, which her cousin recognized as a great potential. On her cousin's suggestion, Flora decided to audition for JKT48 Generation 8 in 2019.

Without high expectations, Flora submitted her audition form online. A few days later, she even forgot that she had sent the form. However, a surprise came when she received an interview call from JKT48, a moment that left her shocked and in disbelief.

During the interview and audition stage, Flora sang the song "Perahu Kertas" by Maudy Ayunda, which successfully led her to become one of the members of Generation 8. Flora and her peers were then introduced to the public on April 27, 2019, just a few weeks after her 14th birthday.

Starting her debut at the age of 14, Flora appeared with a short hair style that reinforced her tomboy impression.
