I EMBRACE MY BEAUTIFUL BODY marks the first leap of actor Muhammad Khan into the film industry. To this day, he has been selected as one of the cast members in the film SUSUK: THE CURSE OF BEAUTY. The film is a collaboration between Visinema Pictures, Legacy Pictures, and Visionari Capital Film Fund. 

The film SUSUK: THE CURSE OF BEAUTY tells the story of Laras, a former sex worker who tries to escape her past and improve her relationship with her sister, Ayu. Tragic events change Laras' life, as her body decays like a corpse. Together with Ayu and Arman, they seek help from figures such as Damar, Ustad Rahmat, and Prasetyo to overcome the terror caused by the talisman embedded in Laras' body. 

In this film, Muhammad Khan plays the role of Prasetyo, a shaman who practices mystical arts such as talismans.  SUSUK: THE CURSE OF BEAUTY will be released on August 31, 2023. While waiting for the film to be screened, let's get to know the character of Prasetyo first!

Nurdiyanto, commonly known as Khan, was born in Jepara, Central Java on March 28, 1991. Khan chose the stage name Muhammad Khan as a tribute to Prophet Muhammad and the famous Bollywood actor, Shah Rukh Khan. This choice reminds him of his childhood aspirations, growing up with admiration for these idols, motivating him to pursue a career in acting.

During high school, Khan was active in the Biassukma Theater in Jepara and served as the chairman for two years. After that, he continued his studies at the Indonesian Institute of the Arts in Yogyakarta, majoring in Theater Arts. During his college years, Khan also attended acting classes conducted by actor Rukman Rosadi to gain additional experience.

After completing his studies, Khan was involved in several short film and theater productions. However, within three months of graduating, he had difficulty finding acting jobs. Khan then tried to register as a Gojek driver, but was rejected due to territorial issues. Finally, he decided to work at a boarding house in Yogyakarta.

Previously, Khan participated in auditions for a role in the film MATA TERTUTUP (2011) directed by Garin Nugroho, but did not pass the selection stage. In 2018, Khan got a golden opportunity to collaborate with Garin Nugroho in the film KUCUMBU TUBUH INDAHKU. He was chosen to play the lead role as Juno, a sinden (traditional Javanese singer) man with a feminine side. His impressive performance in this film opened doors for Khan to various other film projects. One of his latest film projects is the film SUSUK: KUTUKAN KECANTIKAN which will be released on August 31, 2023.

Muhammad Khan made his debut in the film industry in 2018. His first film, titled KUCUMBU TUBUH INDAHKU, was controversial as it contradicted the beliefs held by the majority of Indonesian society. Despite the controversy, the film achieved numerous accolades in the film industry, opening up wide opportunities for Muhammad Khan's acting career.

Here are some of the films that Muhammad Khan has appeared in: KUCUMBU TUBUH INDAHKU, YUNI, IVANNA, MENCURI RADEN SALEH, JAGAT ARWAH, HARI INI AKAN KITA CERITAKAN NANTI, and 13 BOM DI JAKARTA. Additionally, he has also had experience in short films, including JAKARTA 2043, IL VESPISTA, CULAS, and DUNIA TANPA HOAX. Furthermore, he has appeared in the web series titledTHE WAYS SEASON 2: CERITA TANPA AKHIR.

From his name alone, anyone would know how much this actor named Nurdiyanto loves Shah Rukh Khan. For Muhammad Khan, Shah Rukh Khan has played a significant role in his life as an actor. Since Khan was in 4th grade, he has made Indian actor Shah Rukh Khan his role model and has dreamed of becoming an actor. When Khan was in junior high school, his friends knew him as Shah Rukh Khan, and although he initially felt a bit awkward, Khan decided to introduce himself as Khan when he was in high school.

Muhammad Khan's love for his idol was positively responded to by Shah Rukh Khan himself. The video of Muhammad Khan dedicating the trophy he received at the Indonesian Film Festival (2019) to Shah Rukh Khan went viral, reaching Shah Rukh Khan's Twitter timeline and receiving direct congratulations from his idol.

Muhammad Khan plays the role of Prasetyo, who works as a shaman in the film SUSUK: THE CURSE OF BEAUTY. In order to successfully portray the character of Prasetyo, he observed several occult sciences and even memorized Javanese mantras.

Furthermore, he also revealed his family background from his mother when talking about his role. It turns out that his own great-grandfather had the same profession as the character Prasetyo played by Khan.
