Proven Innocent Regarding Breach of Contract, Ashanty Reports Former Business Partner

Kapanlagi.com - Ashanty, accompanied by her husband, Anang Hermansyah, and her lawyer, Indra Patria, came to the Jakarta Metro Police, Friday (8/7/2020). The purpose of Ashanty's visit to the police is to report her former business partner for defamation against her.

As known, in the past few months, Ashanty has been busy with a breach of contract case with one of her business partners. And in July, the Purwokerto District Court ruled that Ashanty was not guilty.

"Alhamdulillah. You know that this year there has been a problem between me and my partner. And thank God last month the decision at the Purwokerto District Court stated that we were proven not to have breached the contract. So, thank God we won at the Purwokerto District Court.

1. Defamation Case

Although she has been declared the winner by the Purwokerto District Court, Ashanty still has to clean up her reputation. Therefore, she reported her former business partner for defamation.

"Even though alhamdulillah it has been proven in court, but I have discussed with my husband and family, as well as our legal counsel, to report him for defamation and other things," said the mother of 4 children. 

2. Support from Family

Initially, after winning her case, Ashanty had no intention of prolonging the problem. However, because this is considered defamation, Ashanty finally decided to report back. 

"But after thinking about it again, this is defamation and I also have other jobs, I have a lot of things to do, so I agreed with my legal counsel and family to report back," she said.
