Putri Marino Shares Her Experience to Be More Confident About Beauty

"I used to lack confidence. I had curly hair, I wasn't confident. My eyelashes were too long, I wasn't confident. My skin wasn't light enough, I felt I wasn't enough," said Putri Marino when met in the Dharmawangsa area, South Jakarta, recently.

1. Beautiful from Within

Putri shared that her lack of self-confidence continued to follow her until she moved to Jakarta. However, being part of that beauty product helped her find values that made her feel more confident as an Indonesian woman.

"It was perfect that the beauty product came with a vision and mission to make Indonesian women feel more confident. If every woman in Indonesia has beauty from within," added Putri.

She also emphasized that true beauty comes from how one perceives oneself. The beauty product she represents is considered to have values that align with her personal journey.

"I was motivated, oh maybe I will finally have a home where I can learn to trust myself more," she explained.

Interestingly, even though she has now become the face of a renowned brand, Putri admits that she is not yet fully confident. However, she continues to learn to accept and love herself as she is.

"If asked whether I am 100 percent confident in myself, not yet. But I keep learning," she honestly expressed.

Putri also feels proud to be part of the effort to encourage Indonesian women to appreciate their own beauty. She hopes her role as a Brand Ambassador can inspire other women to love themselves more.

"I strive to spread the message that Indonesian beauty is diverse. I want Indonesian women to feel confident in their identity," Putri said.
