Raam Punjabi and Wife Test Positive for Covid-19 and are Being Treated in Hospital, Here's Their Condition

Raam Punjabi and his wife are currently undergoing treatment at a hospital in Jakarta. This was confirmed directly by their son, Amrit Punjabi.

"Yes, it's true (being treated because of Covid-19). So, my father first and then my mother. If I'm not mistaken, it was on October 2 or 3. Basically, one day later my mother was admitted," said Amrit, as quoted from HaiBunda (08/10).

1. Latest Condition of Raam Punjabi

According to Amrit's account, Raam Punjabi is currently in good condition. There is a specific reason why he needs to be treated in the hospital, which is to have his health monitored directly by the medical team.

"Currently, the condition is safe, everything is okay. We brought him there because he is quite old. So, actually, we brought him there so that there is someone monitoring him 24 hours, just to make sure everything is safe. Besides that, everything is okay," he said.

2. Had a Fever

Before being treated in the hospital, Raam Punjabi did complain of body aches. He also had a fever.

"It's just like feeling unwell and having a fever, that's it, nothing serious. But we are more on the preventive side, in the sense that we want to make sure everything is safe in the hospital," Amrit concluded.
