Rachel Amanda, an Indonesian actress and singer, started her career in the entertainment industry at a young age. Born on January 1, 1995, in Jakarta, her debut work was as Cherry in the series INDRA KEENAM.Â
From there, her career continued to soar by starring in various popular soap operas such as TERSANJUNG and CANDY. The soap opera CANDY even managed to boom and elevate her name.
On the big screen, Rachel made her debut in the movie HEART (2006) as young Rachel. This film was a great success and solidified her name in the Indonesian film industry. Rachel then appeared in various other teenage films such as KATA MAAF TERAKHIR and I LOVE YOU, OM. Her success in the world of teenage acting made her widely known.
In addition to acting, Rachel also pursued a career in singing. In 2005, she released her debut album, AMANDA. The album was well received and showcased Rachel's musical abilities.
In 2019, Rachel once again captured attention with her role in the movie NANTI KITA CERITA TENTANG HARI INI (NKCTHI), where she portrayed the character Awan. This film was a huge success and considered one of the best Indonesian films of that year.
She also successfully portrayed Fella in MENCURI RADEN SALEH. The film was a hit, confirming how Rachel's career never faded.
Rachel not only focuses on her acting and music career, but also on education. She successfully completed her studies at the Faculty of Psychology, University of Indonesia. After that, after getting married, she continued her master's studies in Amsterdam.
