Rival Ahmad Labbaika, also known as Ipay, who claims ownership of the song, has reported Radja Band's vocalist, Ian Kasela, to the Metro Jaya Regional Police regarding the copyright infringement of the song Cinderella.
When asked about the case, Radja Band's manager, Rana Arinansyah, stated that the song was not solely created by Ipay.

Jipeng emphasized that at that time, he helped fill in the music for the song Cinderella with his guitar.
"Because Ipay couldn't play the guitar at that time. I don't know if he can now. Maybe he has learned," he said.
3. Claiming the Song Cinderella
Jipeng also doesn't understand why Ipay claims the song Cinderella as his own creation. He should have included Jipeng, who was involved in the songwriting process, as well.
"He (Ipay) probably thought that I only played the guitar and didn't contribute to the lyrics. He probably thought that a guitarist doesn't need to be mentioned as the creator," he said.
