Raffi Ahmad and Rans Team's Story Sacrificing 10 Cows and 7 Goats, Renting a Field - Conducting Rapid Test

Kapanlagi.com - Last Friday (31/7/2020), Raffi Ahmad accompanied by Nagita Slavina, Amy Qanita and Rans Entertainment Team held a sacrificial animal cutting event. They slaughtered a total of ten cows and seven goats.

Unlike usual, which only holds a slaughter in front of Lebak Bulus house or Andara complex, this time Raffi and the team deliberately rented an empty field. This was intentionally done to avoid crowds.

"Today we slaughtered cows and goats but not at home because of COVID. Usually in Lebak Bulus, it's in front of the house, but this year there are many (animals), so it's not enough, Andara is also not enough. So there is an empty land in Lebak Bulus, we rented it here to minimize (crowds)," said Raffi to the media.

1. Undergo Rapid Test

Before holding the animal sacrifice event, the attendees undergo a rapid test first. The health of the cows and goats is also well-maintained.

"We conduct rapid tests for the people, and we also check the health of the cows. In this situation, we must strictly follow the government regulations, that's why I rented a field to avoid crowds. The neighbors or residents can only watch from outside because they are afraid of COVID if they enter," said Rafathar Malik Ahmad's father firmly.

2. No Coupon Distribution

In previous years, Raffi Ahmad distributed coupons to the residents who would receive the sacrificial portion. However, this time his team has coordinated with the local neighborhood association to distribute them directly from house to house.

"Earlier, the neighborhood association came here (for coordination) because there will be no coupon distribution to avoid crowds. So, they are given directly to each house. The team in charge of distributing them in this area is Andara," said Raffi.

3. Sacrifice Together

There are a total of ten cows and seven goats in this year's sacrificial event. The number is a combination of sacrificial animals from Raffi, his family, and the Rans Entertainment team.

"Alhamdulilah, we are grateful that every year we can increase the number of sacrificial animals. This is done on behalf of Gigi, Mama Amy, the Rans team, and one cow for Mama Rieta. It is in accordance with the recommendation of our Islamic religion to perform the sacrifice if we are blessed. Let us sincerely give what we have to others," said this multi-talented artist.
