This Influencer and Animal Lover Activist Accuses One of the Cat Lover Communities of Misappropriating Donation Funds

Kapanlagi.com - Recently, one of the influencers and animal lover activists, Kristian Adi Wibowo alias Joshua Pale, accused a foundation owned by Bimbim of misappropriating donation funds amounting to Rp 3 billion. This is because Bimbim is said to be not transparent about the donation.

"There is a community where they raise donations, led by Bimbim or Wahyu Winono. He receives donations into his personal account. And it has never been audited," said Kristian Adi Wibowo's representative Razman during a press conference held in the Epicentrum area, South Jakarta, recently.

1. Bimbim or Wahyu Winono Speaks Out

Therefore, to respond to the allegations, Bimbim or Wahyu Winono, who is the Founder of Cat Lovers in The World (CLOW), spoke out and clarified to question the alleged embezzlement of funds. Although he admitted that he did not know the exact total amount generated from the fundraising, Bimbim estimated that the collected funds could be in the hundreds of millions. Once again, he emphasized that he only received a donation of Rp75 million, in accordance with the contract.

"I had a contract in February for fundraising for the Tomohon cat house. From that letter, I only received Rp75 million," said Bimbim when met in the Ampera area, South Jakarta, on Thursday (30/7) afternoon.

2. Explain the Funds Given by Kitabisa

The bespectacled man also explained that the funds given by Kitabisa went directly into his personal account. In addition, Bimbim also stated that it is not possible for donor data to be shared with the public without permission from the donor themselves.

"Because Kitabisa has already surveyed the building that I built. But the funds are not purely from public donation contributions. I received sponsorship from several individuals with a significant amount of funds, and the reports go directly to the donors. We also cannot publish it unless requested by the donor," he explained.

3. Not Just This Time

Apparently, the baseless accusations from Joshua Pale were said by Bimbim not just this time. Previously, he was also accused of accepting a bribe of Rp25 million from a case in Samarinda, but when Bimbim asked for clarification, Joshua couldn't provide an explanation.

"I handled a case in Samarinda where a cat was bitten by a pitbull owned by someone. And it was recorded live. I haven't received any bribe until today. I even asked him (Joshua) to prove it, because things like that are sensitive," he concluded.
