Ayu Ting Ting Sad Cannot Be 'Butcher' in This Year's Idul Adha Celebration

Kapanlagi.com - For the singer of the phenomenal song Alamat Palsu, Ayu Ting Ting apparently feels something different in this year's Idul Adha celebration. Therefore, Ayu admitted to feeling a little sad because this year is different from previous years' celebrations.

When met at her residence in Depok, West Java, (31/7) Friday morning, Ayu admitted that in previous Idul Adha celebrations, she always routinely sacrificed several cows. Not only sacrificing, she also took part in cutting and distributing them to the people around her house.

Although still sacrificing, the cows were not slaughtered at her house. She also couldn't witness the slaughtering of the cows and become a 'butcher'.

"It definitely feels very different. Last year we had fun being butchers together, but now we can't. Usually, we cut together here, but because the rules don't allow us to cut at home, well, we don't cut at home," Ayu Ting Ting said.

Besides not experiencing the excitement of participating in the sacrificial cow cutting, Ayu Ting Ting in this year's Eid al-Adha celebration also had to perform Eid prayer at home. After praying and gathering with close family, she will also work as usual.

"Usually, I don't work during Eid, but this year I work. Because my friends are doing it, they say that since we are not allowed to cut, it's better for us to work," she said.
