Raffi Ahmad Announces the Names of Rans Cilegon FC Players

Kapanlagi.com - After conducting the selection, Raffi Ahmad as the official chairman announced the 31 players who passed the selection to strengthen Rans Cilegon FC in the upcoming Liga 2 season.

"Today is our agenda to officially introduce the players of Rans Cilegon FC. There are 31 players, including former captain of the Indonesian national team, senior players who are also former national team players, and former U23 (under 23 age group) and U19 (under 19 age group) players," said Raffi Ahmad in Jakarta on Friday (23/4/2021).

Rans Cilegon FC, according to Raffi, deliberately chose the best players, from young to senior, with the aim of quickly competing in Liga 1.

"Here, we unite various ages. Our target is indeed the best, with the goal of entering Liga 1," he said.

1. Refusing to Mention the Value of Counter and Player Salaries

In recruiting top players like Syamsir Alam and Christian Gonzales, Raffi did not disclose the amount of money that had to be spent to bring them in.

"Regarding the price, it's their privacy because not all of them want to be published," he said.

As for player salaries, Raffi also refuses to mention the amount. He hopes that the players who have joined can give their best for the club.

"I said don't work for money but work for the best, the money will come by itself. Hopefully, Rans Cilegon FC can give the best for Indonesian football," he said.

2. Focus on Developing Young Players

In addition to announcing the Rans Cilegon FC squad, Raffi also revealed his plans to produce outstanding athletes by establishing a football academy.

"We are currently undergoing infrastructure facilities such as training fields, which will hopefully be launched in February 2022, Rans Prestige, and also the academy. We are pushing for it to bring out young players," he said.
