Raffi Ahmad's Story When He First Approached Nagita Slavina, Starting from an Unintentional Hug

Kapanlagi.com - It has been almost 6 years since Raffi Ahmad and Nagita Slavina built their household. The ups and downs of their journey as husband and wife have been experienced by the parents of Rafathar Malik Ahmad.

Recently, Raffi and Gigi had a chat with Ari Lasso. The couple, who got married in 2014, then reminisced about their early days of getting closer.

Raffi Ahmad admitted that he never had the intention of making Gigi his girlfriend back then. "I never approached her, because she's too good for me, not someone to be dated," he said as quoted from the video uploaded on Ari Lasso TV's YouTube account (20/3).

1. Known Since High School

Knowing Raffi Ahmad for a long time actually never crossed Nagita Slavina's mind that they could become a couple. One thing that will never make them forget each other is their same birthday.

"We actually knew each other for a long time. Since high school, and our birthdays are on the same day, just different years. So every year, we only remember that he has a girlfriend, I have a boyfriend. His girlfriend is my friend, he also knows my boyfriend, so it never occurred to us at all (to be a couple). But we always text each other on our birthdays," Gigi said.

2. Nagita Hugged

The closeness between Raffi and Nagita slowly began to change since Raffathar's father was released from the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) after being involved in a drug abuse case.

"So when I was released from BNN a few days later, for some reason, I was close with his mother, at that time I just got out and made an appointment with his mother (Nagita), I went to her apartment. In the elevator, I didn't know if she remembered or not when we met in the lobby, there was a peck on the cheek, like a hug," Raffi said.

"Yes, I remember, because I had just arrived, just got home. Because he had just been released, so it's like supporting a friend," Gigi added.

3. Raffi Ahmad Feels the Vibration

Although Nagita only considers the hug she gives as a friend's support, Raffi feels something different. Especially since the 32-year-old woman is Raffi's type of woman.

"But my feelings are different, there's this feeling, you know. But my feeling is like 'Wow, I'm hugged by her'. Actually, I don't have any curiosity about her, but if I want to find a wife, I want someone like her," Raffi said.

From there, their communication continued. Without dating, Raffi and Nagita decided to commit to each other for life. "I didn't date her, suddenly we got married," Raffi Ahmad emphasized.
