Ragil Mahardika Criticizes Netizens for Supporting Victor and Alden's Bromance, Says They Have Double Standards

Kapanlagi.com - The name Ragil Mahardika suddenly became a hot topic in the world of social media. This started with one of his videos commenting on the close relationship between Victor and Alden, finalists on the Indonesian cooking show Masterchef. 

It's not their relationship that was commented on, but rather Ragil's focus on the support given by netizens to Victor and Alden. Ragil himself was surprised by Indonesian netizens who criticized his relationship with Fred, but were very supportive of the Viden pair. 

"Actually, I wanted to stay quiet about this because it's been a long time since this case. But, lately, my fyp has been filled with them. This pair that they call bromance, what is it, bro-broan or something, but they cook together, wake each other up, sleep together, live together, and then they're watched, crowded, and so many of them," said Ragil Mahardika.

"But when it comes to me, who is clearly married and has official documents, I'm criticized by all of Indonesia. When it comes to the other side, who is constantly on TV, being romantic, and praised," he continued.

Not only that, Ragil also commented on the double standard support of Indonesian netizens. He is still confused why Victor and Alden received support, but why he was instead attacked.

"Mamim didn't say they were dating. But Indonesian netizens are double standard," said Ragil.

"Mamim's face is average, they are already open about their marriage, Mamim is attacked, but they keep appearing everywhere, doing podcasts here and there, the more they are talked about, the hotter they get. If you really like romance, why can't you see that Mamim doesn't like it?" he continued.

Shortly after the video was spread on social media, Ragil's name immediately entered the trending topic on Twitter. Even some Viden fans were not happy and attacked Ragil Mahardika again.

"Please don't mess with someone who has never messed with you at all. Especially if you don't know what their position is and haven't followed them from the beginning," wrote the viden.story instagram account.

"Don't compare yourself to them, precisely because you are married and have a marriage certificate, that's what God curses," he continued.

However, not everyone attacked Ragil, there were also those who supported the words of the Tik Toker who now lives in Germany. They agree that in Indonesia, there are still too many inconsistencies.

"This time I agree with Ragil. For those who kept talking about how LGBT is not accepted in Indonesia, the fact that they can appear on TV and YouTube without being attacked like Ragil, and even supported by their fans, proves the privilege of good-looking people in Indonesia is unbeatable," wrote the twitter account @ind_dinda.
