Arie Untung & Teuku Wisnu Want Many Indonesian Children to Become Skilled Animators

Kapanlagi.com - Riko The Series, a popular Indonesian animated series for children, is now available at KidZania, Pacific Place, SCBD area, South Jakarta. With this attraction, Teuku Wisnu and Arie Untung, as the founders of Garis Sepuluh which produces the animation, hope that Indonesian children will have an additional aspiration, namely to become animators.

"With this attraction, we hope it can inspire children to have more aspirations, such as becoming an animator. Being an animator earns a high salary, up to 300 million per month," said Arie Untung, which was agreed upon by Teuku Wisnu when inaugurating the Riko Animation Studio attraction at KidZania Jakarta on Wednesday (15/6/2022).

1. Miniature Studio

According to Arie Untung, the Riko Animation Studio attraction is a miniature animation studio, where children can learn and understand how an animated film is produced.

They can even experience firsthand how to become an animator, from creating a story to producing a work that can be enjoyed.

"As we all know, KidZania is one of the real educational attractions that can be an alternative for parents and educators to help nurture our children's dreams and aspirations based on their interests and competencies," said Arie Untung.

2. Special Class

Teuku Wisnu added that if many children are interested in becoming animators and want to learn more about animation, Garis Sepuluh is ready to create a special class and invite them directly to the Riko The Series production studio.

"The attraction in KidZania is only a trigger for children to be interested in becoming animators. And maybe later we will create a special class and invite those who are really interested to the studio," he said.

3. Happiness

Meanwhile, Kerry Riza, as the president director of Kidzania, expressed her happiness with the new attraction at KidZania.

"We are very happy with the addition of Riko The Series in Kidzania. We know very well how Riko the series, which is now present as a new idol of Indonesian families with its contents that not only entertain but also always insert elements of science in each episode, will certainly be a special attraction for our children," she said.
