Ringgo Agus Rahman Tells New Conflict in 'KELUARGA CEMARA 2'

Kapanlagi.com - Actor Ringgo Agus Rahman welcomes the opportunity to once again play the role of Abah in the film Keluarga Cemara 2. According to Ringgo Agus Rahman, one of the things that makes him enthusiastic is that the film, which will be released in theaters on June 23, 2022, provides many important lessons about the twists and turns of family life and its problems.

"The first film was a test for a normal, well-off family, and then they faced a test that made their family relationships stronger and looser, so in the second one, after they went through everything, how do they maintain this Cemara family?" said Ringgo Agus Rahman on Tuesday (14/6).

"The problem here is indeed related to Indonesian families, so the characters remain the same, but the problems are new," said Ringgo Agus Rahman when met at the Press Junket at Swiss Bell Hotel, Lebak Bulus, South Jakarta.

Keluarga Cemara 2 itself is a continuation of the previous film that was released in 2017. This time, Abah and Emak continue their lives in the village after falling into poverty.

When they want to rise from their downfall and want to live comfortably again, they forget about their children's happiness. Abah is busy with his new job and cannot pick up his children. Meanwhile, Emak is looking for a side job so that her family has additional income and savings.

Euis has started to grow up and no longer wants to share a room with Ara. Feeling neglected because Abah did not keep his promise to paint the room that she would be staying in, Ara caused trouble and ran away from home because she felt that her home was no longer a palace and that her family was changing.

"Yes, it's bigger. First, how this family faced a test, and secondly, we can see from Ara alone. At first, she was the most cheerful child, even Abah tried his best to make Ara feel the problem. Now, because Ara is getting bigger, it's more complex, not just playing around," said Ringgo Agus Rahman.
