Kapanlagi.com - The trial for the defamation case with defendant Ayu Thalia was held again at the North Jakarta District Court on Tuesday afternoon (14/6/2022). The agenda for today is the examination of Nicholas Sean Purnama as the reporting witness.

The hearing, which was scheduled to examine the witness, was supposed to be held last Tuesday (7/6/2022). However, because the eldest son of Basuki Tjahaja Purnama was unable to attend, the hearing was postponed.

Nicholas Sean came to the North Jakarta District Court wearing a batik shirt around 6:20 pm. In addition to his legal team, the bespectacled young man attended the hearing accompanied by a family member.

Sean seemed ready to follow the course of the trial. Because he knows what really happened. "This is something that I know happened, I just need to speak up in court," Sean said.

2. Ayu is Not Feeling Well

When the trial was about to begin, Pitra Romadhoni, Ayu Thalia's legal counsel, stated that her client was not feeling well. Nevertheless, the process continued because Ayu wanted it to.

"Let's just continue," said the 26-year-old influencer when asked by the Chief Judge.

As previously reported, Ayu Thalia reported Nicholas Sean to the North Jakarta Penjaringan Police Station on August 28, 2021. The woman accused Sean of pushing her out of a car, causing her to fall and get injured.

After the report was exposed by the mass media, Sean became the target of public criticism. Feeling falsely accused, the young man reported back on August 31, 2021 at the North Jakarta Police Station.
