Refuting Teddy Pardiana's Accusations, Legal Counsel Asserts that Putri Delina Did Not Wrongfully Take Lina Zubaedah's Inheritance

Kapanlagi.com - Last Wednesday (16/12/2020), Rizky Febian and Putri Delina accompanied by their legal counsel met with Teddy Pardiana's legal counsel. The meeting was to discuss the issues that have become public discourse in recent weeks.

As known, Teddy suddenly brought up the inheritance of the late Lina Zubaedah. In his statement, he mentioned several things such as Rizky and Putri no longer taking care of their younger sibling. Following the accusation against Putri, who was said to have taken the inheritance from the deposit box.

To prevent further confusion, Rizky and Putri held a press conference on Saturday (19/12/2020) in the Ahmad Yani area, Bandung, West Java. This was to clarify Teddy's statements, which were considered to deviate from the actual facts.

1. Putri Delina Entitled to Secure Assets

According to Bahyuni Zaili, the legal representative, Putri Delina did not take the assets because it is already her right. In fact, there has been a meeting where Teddy handed over important documents and jewelry to be kept by Putri.

"Putri Delina is accused of taking documents and jewelry from the deposit box in one of the banks in Bandung without Teddy's consent. We need to convey that 40 days after the deceased passed away, Teddy Pardiana handed over documents regarding the deceased's assets, including jewelry. At that time, Teddy, based on Putri's confirmation, stated that these were the deceased's assets. He said he had no right to those assets," explained Bahyuni.

He continued, "During the meeting, Teddy had already given a written power of attorney to Putri Delina to keep and retrieve the items if she wanted to. The documents and jewelry were then stored in the deposit box. Regarding this matter, if it is claimed that Putri Delina took them without permission, she strongly objects to that. Those documents clearly belong to the late Lina and are intended for the children. We emphasize that Putri Delina did not commit any illegal acts," he clarified.

2. Assets from Marriage with Sule

Furthermore, Bahyuni Zaili said that the inheritance assets stored in the deposit box came from Lina and Sule's marriage for their children. It is only fair that the rightful person uses those assets.

"Those are assets purchased during the marriage with Kang Sule and from Kang Sule's hard work intended for the children. We need to emphasize this so that there is no confusion later, so that the public can understand and assess whether Putri did wrong by securing those assets," Bahyuni stressed.
