Release Mini Album in the Midst of a Pandemic, The Junas Band Led by Stefan William Takes Advantage of Promotion in the Soap Opera 'Anak Band'

Kapanlagi.com - In the last quarter of 2020, The Junas band, consisting of Stefan William, Ajun Perwira, Aditya Suryo Saputro, and Bobie Antonio, released a mini album titled Cukup Dikenang Saja (Just Remembered). Releasing it in the midst of a pandemic is certainly a bold move.

Although they are aware that there won't be any off-air performances, Ajun, who plays the guitar, hopes that their album can still be well-promoted. This is because their songs are used in the soap opera Anak Band (Band's Child) that they star in.

"Well, that's it, it's lucky that no one knows. It's like taking advantage in difficult times, when there are no events, we play in the soap opera. This is an opportunity that not many people can see, a rare opportunity," said Ajun during a virtual conference session last week.

1. Shooting While Training

All members of The Junas participate in the soap opera Anak Band. Although they cannot perform in music events, Stefan William and the others use scenes in the soap opera as training material.

"Because of the pandemic, we are focusing on the soap opera for now. There are performance scenes in the soap opera, so we practice before takes, it's like we are training," explained Aditya, the drummer of the band that was established in 2011.

2. Ready for Off Air Performance

As a band, performing on a real stage is a dream. The members of The Junas hope that this pandemic will end soon so that they can perform in front of a large audience.

"Hopefully the pandemic ends quickly and we can go on. If there is an off air performance (in the middle of shooting the soap opera), we will ask for permission first," said Aditya.

"If there is an off air performance, we will be more enthusiastic about practicing," added Ajun.

3. Activities in the Midst of a Pandemic

Engaging in activities during a pandemic is not a bad idea. The most important thing is to still apply the applicable health protocols. #RememberMother'sMessage, KLovers, diligently wash your hands with soap, wear a mask when traveling, and avoid crowds. Hopefully, this pandemic can end soon.
