Releasing a Fragrant Aroma, Syakir Daulay Briefly Smells Ameer Azzikra's Body for the Last Time

Kapanlagi.com - Close friend of the late Ameer Azzikra, Syakir Daulay admitted to feeling a miracle during the burial process of the second son of the late ustaz Arifin Ilham. Syakir Daulay said there was a fragrant aroma from Ameer's body when he kissed his friend's forehead for the last time.

"Syakir usually watches soap operas, so when Ameer passed away, Syakir smelled a fragrance. Syakir felt like he was smelling a pleasant fragrance. Syakir asked, even though he hadn't showered for a few days, it turns out that the fragrance is a sign of goodness. Syakir inhaled it because it smelled good, and even when Syakir performed the dawn prayer at home, it didn't go away," said Syakir Daulay when met in the Jagakarsa area, South Jakarta, on Saturday (4/12).

Syakir Daulay likened the aroma smelled from Ameer Azzikra's body to the fragrance felt when worshiping in the Prophet's Mosque.

"It's more like when we prostrate on the carpet of the Prophet's Mosque next to the Prophet's grave, the fragrance is like that. So when you smell the fragrance of khasturi, if Ameer's fragrance is different from this perfume fragrance," he continued.

1. Experienced by Others

Syakir added, it's not just him who smelled the fragrance. According to him, there were others who also experienced the same thing.

"It seems like some people noticed the smell, but when I smelled it, I quickly prepared the habib to pray for Ameer. Maybe there are others, but they're too afraid to speak up, but I dare to because I have smelled it several times and it turns out to be true," he concluded.

2. Last Meeting

The deep sense of loss is still felt by the family and closest friends of the late Ameer Azzikra, including Syakir Daulay. Syakir recounted that Ameer had expressed his gratitude to him. Even at their last meeting in a religious gathering, Ameer hugged Syakir before leaving.

"During the last religious gathering, he hugged me. I wonder why this child, who rarely does such things, suddenly hugged me and shortly after that, I heard he was sick," said Syakir Daulay.

3. Strange Feelings

From that meeting, Syakir felt something strange. Until before Ameer Azzikra took his last breath, Syakir received a message from Ameer expressing his desire to meet Syakir again.

"Continuing his words at that time, it felt like a premonition. He apologized and said there was a problem with his lungs, hoping to meet again. It turns out that premonition was true," he explained.

4. Best Friend

Syakir Daulay referred to Ameer Azzikra as his best friend. Through a post on Instagram, Syakir expressed his sense of loss.
