Report the Tausiyah Committee in Garut to the Police, Ustaz Solmed Still Opens the Door to Peace

Although he has made a police report, Solmed admitted that he still opens the opportunity for peace with Suwarna and Tisna on the condition that they make a public apology within the specified time limit.

"I will wait until Sunday (10/10/2021). If they are willing, on Monday (11/10/2021) we will meet at the West Java Regional Police. Brother Tisna and Suwarna apologize in front of the public with me accompanying and investigators and in front of journalists. That's my request if they want peace. If they are willing, I will withdraw the report," said Solmed when met at his residence in Jakarta, Wednesday (6/10/2021).

According to Solmed, if the opportunity for peace offered by him is ignored, then he will not hesitate to continue his report and present evidence in court.

"It's up to you if you want to realize that you are wrong. If you don't realize it, we will settle it in court. If you admit that you are wrong, we will settle it peacefully. But if you don't realize it, we will settle it in court," he said. But fortunately, recently Ustaz Solmed, Suwarna, and Tisna have reconciled. The controversy between Ustaz Solmed and Ustaz Suwarna began when Solmed canceled his attendance at a tausiyah event in Garut, West Java, on September 26th.

Solmed admitted that he canceled his attendance due to strong reasons. Initially, Solmed said that Suwarna asked him to give a lecture in Cisewu, Pengalengan, Bandung. However, suddenly the event location was changed to Garut, West Java.

Considering humanity, Solmed finally agreed to go to Garut, West Java. However, during the journey, Solmed encountered obstacles. The route to the preaching location was blocked due to a landslide. Due to the unfavorable conditions, Solmed chose to return to Jakarta and has already informed the committee about it.
