If later the perpetrator is found and has good intentions, the 36-year-old woman will still open the door for forgiveness. However, Cathy cannot confirm if the perpetrator can be caught by the law.
This Jakarta-born star herself admits that she doesn't know who the perpetrator is. However, she hopes that with the report, the perpetrator can be found, captured, and judged according to the applicable law.
"I really don't know, I was just shocked and sad to see this news spread and certainly associated with the case that has been widely discussed. That's why I strongly object to my name being dragged into this case," said Cathy.
Just a few days after his name was used and the edited photo was spread, there were already negative impacts that occurred. One of them is Cathy Sharon's mother often being asked by her friends about the truth of the news.
"The family knows. This is what I said, I really feel disturbed socially, because even my mother was called by her friends. So I can't just stay silent, I have to take action, I made a report. And for the person who made this news, made this photo, I also ask you to think about how it feels if you were in my position," she continued.
"The children are still young, but this is their social life at school. Parents must have seen and maybe wondered, I am also sad. I don't want people to speculate, I don't want to stay silent. I want to clarify, I want to make a report so that people also know and I also want to clear my name," she said.
Not staying silent, Cathy also reported the website creator to the Metro Jaya Police on Thursday (10/1/2019). Accompanied by her legal counsel, Cathy spoke to the media about the negative impact that has affected her and her family.
