Reported to the Police for Mocking the Latuconsina Family Name, Rina Nose is Ready to Undergo Legal Process

Because of this, Andre and Rina were reported to the Jakarta Metropolitan Police by a lawyer named Ruswan Latuconsina. He accused the two comedians of defamation through electronic media.

When asked for confirmation, Rina Nose admitted that she did not know that Latuconsina is a clan name in Maluku. The joke was spontaneous and there was no intention at all.

Nevertheless, Rina and Andre Taulany will follow the applicable legal process. If they are called by the police for questioning, they will come.

"We understand the disappointment. So please report and we are ready to comply with the summons," said Rina when contacted via Whatsapp message, Monday (18/5/2020).

2. No Outside the Law

Meanwhile, Ruswan Latuconsina as the reporter representing the Latuconsina clan wants to investigate this case thoroughly. So far, there is no intention to resolve it through family means or outside the legal corridor.

"For now, it's not possible, it's a matter of dignity. We can die abroad, but our family's dignity cannot. We will consolidate all Maluku youth to monitor this case," said Ruswan when contacted separately.
