Indonesia will once again participate in the Miss Universe 2018 event. This time, Puteri Indonesia 2018, Sonia Fergina Citra, will depart for this prestigious contest. The 67th Miss Universe pageant will be held in Bangkok, Thailand.

Various preparations have been made by the 26-year-old woman. One of them is, of course, preparing several costumes that she will wear. Top Indonesian designers are ready to enhance Sonia's beauty, starting from Anaz, Ghea Panggabean, Tommy Pancamurti, Anne Avantie, to Dynand Fariz JFC.

The final night of the Miss Universe pageant will be held on December 17. Prior to the final night, the contestants will undergo quarantine and various activities.

This year, approximately 95 countries will compete and become Sonia's competitors.

This year's National Costume was designed by Dynand Fariz from Jember Fashion Carnival. Taking the theme of Bird Of Paradise, this costume is inspired by the beauty of the bird of paradise from Papua.

This costume weighs approximately 9 kilograms and features beautiful feathers. Not only showcasing beauty, this clothing also highlights the strength of women.

"I am showing another side of my power. I like martial arts and music, that's why I want to show my strength but still look graceful," Sonia concluded.
