Representing Indonesia, Nadhira Suri Shares Her Experience in Joining Miss Scuba International 2013

Kapanlagi.com - Nadhira Suri, an actress and singer who has just released her latest song titled Ceritakan Padaku, shared her interesting experience in the world of scuba diving. When visiting the Kapanlagi Youniverse (KLY) office, Nadhira expressed her desire to explore the beauty of Indonesia's underwater world and her hope to visit Raja Ampat one day.

"From my friends' stories, where else should I go if not to Raja Ampat. I've never been there, maybe I haven't found the right time yet, I almost bought the tickets but it didn't work out, but I really want to go to Raja Ampat," said Nadhira Suri at the KLY office, not long ago.

1. Interested in Scuba Diving for a Long Time

Initially, Nadhira became interested in scuba diving after playing in a movie in 2013. At that time, her co-star asked her to try diving.

"Initially, I played in a movie in 2013 and my co-star said, 'Nad, you should try scuba diving, it's really good, the Indonesian sea is beautiful. Have you tried it yet?','" she said.

2. Great Curiosity

This apparently made Nadhira curious and wanted to experience diving in the sea herself. However, she realized that at that time, scuba diving was not as easy as it is now.

"Then I was curious and wanted to try it, I wanted to know what was inside. But when I searched, it turned out that diving wasn't as easy as it is now, so I was offered to join a scuba diving competition, and I did it," said Nadhira.

3. Joining the Competition

Not giving up on the difficulty, Nadhira then found a scuba diving competition. Without hesitation, she decided to participate in the competition.

"I know that there will be a workshop in the competition, I will meet people in the field. Even though we have money, we may not be able to bring them. So I joined, and I won. I was taught about marine conservation diving and other things," she said.

4. Winning the Scuba Diving Competition

Finally, she won the competition and had the opportunity to learn about marine conservation diving and scuba diving in depth. Nadhira admitted that she has always been interested in new things since she was a child. When she learned about scuba diving, she felt interested even though she realized it was an extreme sport.

"Basically, I am interested in everything. So since I was a child, I really liked trying everything. When I was told about scuba diving, but this is an extreme sport, but instead I wanted to try it, so I tried it," Nadhira concluded.

5. Participating in the 2013 Beauty Contest

It should be noted that Nadhira participated in beauty contests, namely Miss Scuba Indonesia and Miss Scuba International. Nadhira participated in the Miss Scuba Indonesia 2013 and became the winner of the event.

Not stopping there, Nadhira Suri also represented Indonesia in the Miss Scuba International 2013 and successfully achieved Top 5 and Best Costume Miss Scuba International 2013.
