Resigning from the Az Zikra Foundation, Alvin Faiz Apologizes and Repents

Yes, recently Alvin Faiz was reported to have resigned from the Az Zikra Foundation, which was known through the Instagram account @opposite6890.io on Tuesday (17/8/2021).

On that Instagram account, there are two posts uploaded by Alvin, a video and a photo stating that he has resigned from the foundation. In the first post, a video, Alvin expresses his repentance in front of the scholars.

"Alvin just realized what it's like to repent. That we are given the opportunity to repent," Alvin said in the video uploaded on the @opposite6890.io account.

During the occasion, Alvin did not waste the opportunity to express his feelings about what he had done.

He admits that he deeply regrets it. Moreover, Alfin also apologizes to the ulama for not being able to set a good example.

"Alvin seeks guidance from Ustaz Syukur, Ustaz Feri Nur, all the Azzikra assemblies, from his mother as well. Alvin sincerely apologizes for not being able to set a good example. Once again, Alvin deeply regrets it, seeks guidance from Ustaz," he said.

Eventually, Alfin expresses his feelings and his decision to resign from the Az Zikra foundation.

Furthermore, Alfin hands over everything to the sharia council and the mentors so that further decisions can be discussed.

A post from the social media account @opposite6890.io also states in its caption that if Alfin cannot use social media as a means to spread goodness and preach, it is better to stop and refrain from continuing.

"If you cannot use Social Media as a means of preaching, it is better to stop and refrain from playing, so as not to cause harm and have a negative impact on the struggle of the late Murabbi," the caption reads.

Even the ulama hope that Alvin can continue to learn in order to carry on the preaching and continue the struggle of the late Murabbi.
