"Last year we were excited to prepare everything, like having special meals for suhoor and iftar, but because we want to change, we have simple meals for suhoor and iftar, not as exciting as before, afraid of wasting food," said Vino G Bastian when met in the Gandaria area, South Jakarta, not long ago.

In addition, it turns out that Vino never forces his child to fast. Therefore, as parents, Vino and his wife were surprised to see their child's willingness.
"He has been fasting since last year, and he is strong enough to fast. We never force him if he is tired or not, but if he wants to, it's good," said Vino.
Not only that, Vino also said that his child does not ask for gifts if able to fast for 30 full days. However, as a parent, he still rewards his child.
"No, that's all we give, not what he asks for. So when it's finished because we appreciate his effort to try fasting for a full amount, not 30 days but the full amount is quite a lot, in the end we buy a gift but we don't make it a habit, the gift is not because he successfully fasted but because of your willingness to fast," concluded Vino.
