Kapanlagi.com - Veteran artist Ria Irawan has passed away and was buried at Tanah Kusir Cemetery, South Jakarta on Monday (6/1/2020). The entire family and colleagues of the deceased accompanied Ria Irawan's body to her final resting place.
Mayky, her husband, along with Dewi Irawan and Adi Bambang Irawan, her two siblings, scattered flowers. Adi Bambang Irawan also expressed his condolences to his sister at the graveside, revealing that there were actually signs of Ria Irawan's impending death.
"Alhamdulillah we gather here to send off Ria Irawan. May her sins be forgiven. Actually, there were signs that Ria would pass away within 40 days, at that time she requested for a prayer leader," said Adi.
"She (Ria Irawan) struggled to climb the stairs. That was the only time we prayed together," he continued.

In his final words, Adi didn't forget to apologize for any mistakes made by Ria Irawan. He also requested for prayers to be recited for the deceased.
"Alhamdulillah, please forgive the sins of my sister, and let us send Al Fatihah again for the late Ria Irawan," he said.
As known, Ria Irawan took her last breath at Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital on Monday, January 6, 2020, after the dawn prayer call. Previously, in 2009, Ria Irawan was diagnosed with lymphoma and was declared cured, but the lymphoma returned. Since September 2019, Ria Irawan has been undergoing treatment again.
