Rey Bong Happy with Many Viewers Who Are Baper Watching the Soap Opera 'Dari Jendela SMP'

Kapanlagi.com - The soap opera adaptation of the novel by Mira W titled Dari Jendela SMP which is currently airing on SCTV has successfully captured public attention. The love story of two teenagers, Joko and Wulan, portrayed by Rey Bong and Sandrinna Michelle, has managed to make the viewers baper.

Rey Bong also feels very happy that his hard work with the other cast members and the entire team involved has received positive response from the public.

"It must feel really happy because what we have all worked on, what we have all done here, can make Indonesian viewers happy, like it, and there are a lot of responses, some like it, some become baper. So we are really happy here," said Rey Bong in Virtual Meet and Greet, Thursday (23/7).

1. Character Deepening

Not only their love story that makes viewers emotional, but also when they cry, Rey Bong and Sandrinna Michelle can make the audience deeply immersed in sadness. So, how did Rey Bong and Sandrinna Michelle deepen their characters as Joko and Wulan?

"For me, Alhamdulillah, it's not that difficult to deepen the character. Alhamdulillah, I can portray the character of Wulan well. As for me, acting by imagining sad things is the most effective way to cry," said Sandrinna Michelle.

2. Creating Cry Scenes

Unlike Sandrinna Michelle who imagines sad things to be able to cry, Rey Bong has a different way to shed tears and be fully immersed in crying scenes.

"Actually, there are many types of actors to make tears come out. Sandrina's type is imagining sad things. As for me, if I imagine that, I can't cry. So, I try to read the script, deepen the character," explained Rey Bong.

"For example, if Joko is sad and wants to cry, I really feel what Joko feels, I try to enter Joko's soul. So when I cry, the tears I shed are Joko's emotions," he concluded.
