The beauty doctor who usually appears confident could not hold back her sadness when recounting how this case has spilled over into her child's school environment. According to her, the accusations directed at her on social media have now become a source of mockery for her children.
"For my children who are always bullied at school," said Reza Gladys in a soft tone when met at the South Jakarta District Court on Thursday (24/7/2025).
She explained that her struggle for justice is not only for herself but also to clear her name in the eyes of her children. The accusation of being a fraudulent doctor has become a heavy burden for her family to bear.
"Because my child is being told that her mother is a fraud, a fraudulent doctor, as stated by the defendant Nikita Mirzani, even though that is not true at all," she continued.
The mental burden felt by Reza is also acknowledged by her husband, Attaubah Mufid. He confirmed that his wife is under heavy pressure to the point of needing professional help to cope with her psychological condition.
When asked whether his wife's condition required psychiatric treatment, Mufid answered briefly but firmly. "Oh, it did for a while," he said.
For Reza, going to trial is a step to defend her dignity and honor as a mother, wife, and also a doctor who has built her reputation over the years. "And I stand here not just for myself," she asserted.
"I must maintain my dignity as a doctor and as a wife because I am also a woman," concluded Reza Gladys.
