Reza SMASH's Story: Engaging in Work as a Wedding Organizer Since the Pandemic

Reza SMASH, known as a member of the boyband SMASH, shares an inspiring story about his transition to becoming a wedding organizer (WO) that helped him survive during the COVID-19 pandemic. Check out the full story below!

"The first time I was invited by friends (to join a wedding organizer) during the pandemic, I am very grateful now to be a WO because this has been one of the things that saved me during the pandemic," said Reza SMASH as quoted by detikhot, Thursday (23/1/2025).

In an interview, Reza revealed that he started diving into the world of wedding organizing in 2020, when many activities in the music industry came to a halt due to the pandemic. He feels grateful because this profession became one of the lifesavers during those difficult times.

"During the pandemic, there were no jobs, I couldn't perform, I couldn't produce, and it was also difficult to socialize with people," explained Reza SMASH.

"I am learning by doing, learning in the field, here you really have to put your ego aside because we are selling services, attitude really becomes the main thing," he continued.

Reza believes that the wedding organizer industry remains promising even in difficult times like the pandemic.   "Weddings never stopped during that time, people couldn't be forbidden from getting married, so this is quite promising because people will always get married," he concluded.

For five years working as a wedding organizer, Reza has been involved in two ventures, namely Dominate Limited and Reza Wedding Planner. He has specific responsibilities in handling the event area and main needs in Ring 1.
