Richa Novisha Remembers Last Moments with Gary Iskak, Vacation Plans Cancelled

The single-vehicle accident that claimed the life of Gary Iskak last Saturday not only separated bodies but also buried the beautiful plans that had been made with the family. His wife, Richa Novisha, revealed that there was one desire of the late that had not yet been fulfilled.

The couple, who had been married for 17 years, had actually planned to vacation with the family in the near future. Bali was the dream destination they wanted to visit this month.

"Vacation, yes, actually we wanted to go on vacation. With the kids, with family. We usually want to go on vacation if there’s a blessing, that’s for sure," said Richa at her home in Cirendeu, South Tangerang, on Monday (1/12/2025) evening.

In fact, Gary Iskak was so enthusiastic about preparing for this vacation that he diligently sent recommendations for places to his wife every day.

"I’ve been sending recommendations every day, 'Can you stop?'. Oh, the plan was to go to Bali. 'When is it?'. The plan was this month, it should be," recalled Richa with a bittersweet smile.

But fate had other plans. That vacation plan now has to be buried deep along with Gary's departure forever. "What do you think, Mas? No way, Mas. Let's put it on hold (the plan)," Richa replied when asked about the continuation of that plan.

In the midst of sorrow, Richa is grateful to have celebrated her birthday with Gary last November. That simple dinner moment has now become the last priceless sweet memory.

"That was on my birthday last November. Just, just recently. So, I apologize for getting older. I think, Mmm... I think there’s no need for a surprise anymore. Mom, what gift do you want? Just buy it directly. So, yeah, today we just eat, after that we go home, watch something, then go home, that's it. That’s more than enough, right, bro?" said Richa.

Now, Richa is trying to rise for her children, Adilla and Taqiya. She firmly holds on to the principle of continuing to live even without her beloved husband by her side.

"Yes, it has to be, because life goes on. What’s the secret? The secret is just to stay calm. If you’re calm, leave it to Allah, it’s done. That’s it," concluded Richa Novisha.
