The sad news still envelops the large family of Gary Iskak. The senior actor passed away due to a single-vehicle accident last Saturday, leaving profound sorrow for his wife, Richa Novisha, and their two children.

Met after the 3-day tahlilan event, Richa appeared to be trying to stay strong in the face of this bitter reality. With eyes that hinted at sadness, she shared a little story about her late husband, who was known to be fierce on screen but had a gentle heart at home.

"We are just trying to stay strong. God willing, we can," she said when met at the 3-day event for Gary Iskak in the Cirendeu area, South Tangerang, on Monday (01/12/2025).

Richa Novisha could not hold back her emotion when asked about the sweetest memories during 17 years of building a household with Gary Iskak. For this 39-year-old woman, every moment is a precious memory, both happy and sad.

"Everything, of course. A lot. There’s no single most memorable one. A lot, yes, 17 years, everything has its ups and downs," she reminisced.

Gary Iskak, in Richa's eyes, is a true family man. Although he often plays antagonistic roles, at home, Gary is a loving father and husband.

"The late one was definitely a family man. Family comes first, for sure. Loving, sweet, he may look tough (fierce), strict, but he is very loving, especially towards his children; family is number one," Richa said.

In addition to his affectionate nature, one thing that Richa misses the most is her husband's mischievousness. Gary turns out to love joking around and often surprises Richa even though he knows she doesn't like it.

"Yes, I miss his jokes. He likes to joke around, tease me at home, and surprise me. He knows I don't like to be surprised, but he keeps doing it. I was in the kitchen, and then, bam! Just like that," Richa said with a faint smile as she reminisced about her husband's playful antics.

However, above all, Gary Iskak's warm embrace is what leaves the deepest impression in Richa's heart. An embrace that is now just a memory but will always be missed.

"Yes, apart from surprising me, the thing that I feel the most is his embrace. Because his embrace is really warm," she concluded.
