This was stated directly by Wendi Putranto, the manager of Seringai, who is also a long-time associate of Ricky. He mentioned that Ricky has a significant role in the development of Seringai's works.

"Ricky has a very large role in Seringai because he is the architect of Seringai's music," said Wendi when met at the Sentosa Funeral Home RSPAD Gatot Subroto, Thursday (24/4/2025).

1. Ricky Recognized as the Soul of the Band Seringai

Every note and riff that has become the hallmark of Seringai mostly comes from Ricky's hands. Although the lyrics are composed by vocalist Arian, the musical foundation of this metal band was designed by Ricky from the beginning.

"So if the lyrics are by Arian as the vocalist, the music is usually based on Ricky, and it's also worked on together with Khemod and Sammy," Wendi explained further.

For Wendi, it is not an exaggeration to call Ricky the soul of Seringai. Ricky's departure is not only a loss for the band but also for their musical identity.

2. After the Concert, Plans to Release a New Single

"So it can be said that Ricky is the soul of Seringai, the architect of Seringai's music," he asserted.

Not only regarding music, Ricky's departure also temporarily halted the big plans they had laid out. After releasing a new single titled 'Pulang', Seringai was actually preparing to return to the studio.

"Actually for this tour process, after this tour we will go into the recording studio," Wendi said.

3. 'Pulang' Becomes Ricky's Last Work

The single 'Pulang' released in November 2024 is Ricky's last work with Seringai. The song marks their comeback after seven years without releasing an album.

"Ricky and Seringai have just released a new single, it's titled Pulang, on November 26, that's Seringai's latest single after almost seven years without releasing an album," said Wendi.
