Rico Lubis Was Nervous Competing with Gofar Hilman's Big Name on the Grind Boys Podcast

The podcast, which features Gofar Hilman, Rico Lubis, and Wanda alias Wancoy, has now reached 103 episodes since its debut a year ago.

When speaking with Kapanlagi.com, Rico Lubis admitted that he was surprised by the enthusiasm of the Grind Boys audience. What surprised him even more was that his conversations with Gofar and Wanda were well-received by many people.

"It's crazy, I really appreciate it. Actually, with Gofar, there's no doubt about his engagement and his big name. I didn't expect it, I told Wanda too. I'm grateful that I can keep up with them," said Rico Lubis.

However, the conversations they present in each episode flow so easily. Even without any script at all.

"Yes. This is how it is, we have already reached over 100 episodes. If it was made up, it wouldn't be that way," said Rico Lubis.

Throughout 100 episodes, Rico Lubis revealed the impact produced by the Grind Boys podcast. According to him, through this podcast, people can get to know him from a different perspective.

"I keep saying it over and over again, Wancoy and I can prove to people who didn't know both of us before," he said.

"YouTube is, in my opinion, the most honest platform because if someone clicks on hate speech, you can't control who it is," he added.

Although initially feeling awkward, Rico admitted that the journey of this podcast helped him balance his popularity with big names like Gofar.

"I was also nervous trying to keep up with the big name Gofar. Luckily, the 100 episodes went smoothly, so in my opinion, it really boosted my profile and personal branding. People get to know me more. I am also on the same level as Wanda," he concluded.
