Rieke Diah Pitaloka Relax If DPR Allowances Are Eliminated, Wealth Surpasses Rp16 Billion

Based on the data from the State Officials Wealth Report (LHKPN) submitted to the KPK as of March 16, 2024, Rieke is recorded to have a wealth of Rp16.809 billion or around Rp16.8 billion. This figure is quite striking, even when compared to most of her party colleagues in the DPR.

The majority of Rieke's wealth comes from land and building assets valued at Rp13.7 billion. These properties are spread across various strategic locations, from Depok, Bekasi, Bogor, to Garut and Denpasar. The most expensive asset is located in Denpasar, consisting of land and buildings valued at Rp4 billion. In Depok alone, she is recorded to own several plots of land and houses worth billions of rupiah.

Not only does Rieke own property, but she also has two personal vehicles: a 2017 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport worth Rp325 million and a 2019 Toyota Alphard 2.6G AT worth Rp800 million. The total value of the vehicles reaches Rp1.125 billion.

In addition, she reported other movable assets worth Rp1.11 billion, securities worth Rp1.7 billion, and cash and cash equivalents amounting to Rp1.03 billion. Meanwhile, her debts are recorded at only Rp170 million. When calculated net, the total assets owned by Rieke remain at over Rp16.8 billion.

The public certainly still remembers Rieke as Oneng, the iconic character she played in the sitcom Bajaj Bajuri. The character Oneng is known to be naive, funny, and somewhat slow, which made Rieke's name soar in the early 2000s. However, her career journey did not stop in the entertainment world. She gradually shifted her direction to become an activist and politician.

Interestingly, when comparing Rieke's style as an artist and now as a politician, there is a striking difference. Previously, Rieke appeared relaxed, humorous, and close to comedic roles on screen. Now, she presents herself firmly, seriously, and often participates in important forums discussing national policies.The transformation from the naive Oneng to a vocal politician shows another side of Rieke that may not be widely known to the public. She is not just an actress, but also an intellectual figure and a people's representative who dares to speak out, even regarding internal parliamentary interests.
