Kapanlagi.com - Senior comedian Nunung has just undergone lens replacement surgery. The cataract she suffers from has made her right eye unable to see well.
Nunung admitted that at first, she did not realize her right eye was affected by cataracts because her left eye compensated, making it feel normal. However, when she closed her left eye, she realized her right eye was not functioning normally.
"I just had lens replacement surgery. So the one that couldn't see at all before, the doctor replaced the lens. The doctor's diagnosis is internal cataract," said Nunung when met in the Mampang Prapatan area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (3/9/2024).

During the operation, Nunung said she received general anesthesia. After the lens in her right eye was replaced, her vision is still in the process of returning to normal.
"After the surgery, I can see now, but there are still some bubbles. It's still not clear. The restrictions are no water, and no animal hair," said Nunung.

Even in a sick condition, Nunung remains busy with activities. She actively accepts jobs because she still has responsibilities to finance her children's and grandchildren's education.
"Yes, I still work because I have to support my child in college. My grandchild is also still in school," Nunung emphasized.
"Pray for me so that I can get well soon," added Nunung's husband, Iyan Sambiran, met at the same place.
