Kapanlagi.com - The passing of the motherof Ibnu Jamil, Tarwiyah binti H. Tarmuji, leaves a deep sorrow for the family, including Ririn Ekawati who feels the loss of a mother-in-law who was very close to her. Ririn recounts many beautiful memories with the late mother.
Appearing simply wearing a hijab and covering her eyes with sunglasses, Ririn expressed her happiness to be accepted and loved by her in-laws like her own parents.
"Personally, I feel blessed, and my fortune is not just material, but being accepted and loved by my in-laws is truly extraordinary. Because I don’t have parents, being accepted by Ibnu's family makes me very happy," Ririn revealed at TPU Petukangan, Wednesday (15/1/2025).

All this time, her mother-in-law was known as a figure full of love for her children and grandchildren. Even though she was sick, the late matriarch still tried not to burden the family and always made them happy.
"Yes, for the past 5 years (mom) never caused any trouble, always made us all happy, and even when she was sick, she didn’t complain, didn’t want to be a burden," said Ririn.
According to Ririn, even though her children already had their own lives, their mother still felt happy just with a phone call or video call. This closeness made them always make time to gather with the late matriarch.

"When I was shooting, I made sure to call back right away, asking how she was, joking (too)," she said.
Ririn also revealed that one of the unforgettable memories was the late matriarch's cooking, which was always a family favorite, especially traditional Betawi dishes like jengkol and pete.
"Ririn first fell in love with Betawi food, jengkol and pete (from mom), it’s really the best when she cooks," she revealed.

The closeness of Ibnu Jamil's mother with her grandchildren is also a moment that is always remembered. Ririn recounts how the deceased was very happy when all her grandchildren were gathered together.
"Close, especially when everyone is gathered, Dhofin is the first grandchild," she added.
At the end of her life, the deceased had a message to always be prayed for. Ririn clearly remembers how the deceased still tried to escort them to the terrace of the house even while she was sick.
"She asked us to keep praying for mama. So she has an incredibly special place in my heart, like my own parents," said Ririn.
