In the midst of resolving his legal case at Polda Metro Jaya, Rizky Billar shared a warm story about the development of his eldest son, Levian, also known as Abang L. This Ramadan, his child started to be taught to observe fasting, even if just for half a day.

Billar recounted how his child reacted when trying to hold back hunger for the first time. Although sometimes a bit fussy, Billar and Lesti continue to try to provide understanding about worship in a gentle and non-coercive way.

"Oh yes, we always make time to prepare sahur. Cooking for the family, of course. And especially now that Abang (L) has started learning to fast, even if it's just half a day," said Rizky Billar at the Metro Jaya Police, Wednesday (25/2/2026).

"On the first day, he might be a bit fussy, a bit shocked, so we tried to say 'Come on Bang, hold on until Maghrib, can you make it?' 'No, Mom, I'm hungry, can I eat?' Well, we can't force him, right? After all, he is still in the learning stage," Rizky Billar added.

In educating their child, Billar and Lesti have the principle of not making promises in the form of rewards at the beginning.

They prefer to give appreciation after their child achieves a milestone as a form of recognition.

"We never really teach to make promises, but more towards appreciation after he does something. So he does it first, and if he succeeds, then we appreciate it by saying 'This is a gift for what you have done before,'" explained Billar.

On the other hand, Billar also praised Lesti Kejora for diligently preparing sahur meals for the family. Even though she is heavily pregnant, Lesti continues to fulfill her role as a wife very well at home.

"Oh yes, she always makes time to prepare sahur. She cooks for her family," he said.
