Roby Geisha Arrested for Drug Offenses for the Third Time, Along with His Assistant

Kapanlagi.com - Roby Satria, or better known as the guitarist of the band Geisha, has been arrested again for drug offenses. As previously known, Roby Geisha has also been arrested for the same offense in 2013 and 2015.

This time, the arrest started from a report by the public who saw someone suspicious in a music studio in the Pancoran area, South Jakarta, on Saturday (19/3). After that, the police conducted an investigation.

"This started from a report by the public, there was information about a suspicious person in a music studio in the Pancoran area," said South Jakarta Metropolitan Police Chief, Kombes Pol Budhi Herdi Susianto, in a press conference at the South Jakarta Metropolitan Police Station on Monday (21/3).

"From that information, the team conducted an investigation and saw someone with suspicious movements going in and out of the bathroom. Then, an examination and search were conducted, and evidence in the form of marijuana was found on the person," he continued.

1. Arrested with His Assistant

After conducting an investigation, the police arrested a man with the initials AJ, who is known to be Roby Geisha's assistant. It is known that Roby Geisha has been ordering the type of drug, marijuana, through his assistant.

"From the information or arrest of the man named AJ, the officers obtained information that the item belongs to RS. RS has been ordering through his assistant named AJ and this has been done several times and then arrested," explained Kombes Pol Budhi Herdi Susianto.

2. Evidence of 8 Grams of Marijuana

From the arrest, the police confiscated 8 grams of marijuana and other evidence.

"Investigators found the first evidence of marijuana in a package, weighing 8 grams, and then there were also remnants of marijuana that had been rolled and smoked," said Kombes Pol Budhi Herdi Susianto.

"So as an assistant, AJ was instructed by RS to prepare these items. In this case, for rolling. After the preparation was done, it was handed over to RS. So, the usage is around or near the studio," he concluded.

3. Arrest of Musician with Initials RS

Previously, it was known that a musician with the initials RS and someone with the initials AR were arrested on Saturday (19/3) night. This was confirmed by the South Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Pol Budhi Herdi Susianto.

"It is true that the Satreskoba Res Jaksel investigator arrested a man with the initials RS who claimed to be a guitarist for the band G," said Kombes Pol Budhi Herdi Susianto to journalists.

Although at first Kombes Pol Budhi Herdi Susianto did not give a definite answer when asked if RS was Roby Satria, it was finally revealed that the person in question was indeed the guitarist for the band Geisha. Moreover, Roby had previously been involved in two drug cases.

5. Addicted Since High School

When he stumbled upon the same case in 2015, Roby himself admitted that he had been a drug addict since he was in high school. In fact, he also used the illegal substance while performing with Geisha to increase stamina and self-confidence.
