"She always wins, in my heart. Because there is no competition in my heart," said Regi Datau when asked about his wife's performance in the padel match when met in the TB Simatupang area, South Jakarta, on Sunday (29/6/2025).

Regi's presence is not just a formality. He looks so enthusiastic supporting Ayu Dewi from the sidelines, even though his wife ultimately lost in the second game.

"Of course I have to," Regi said when asked about his shouts from the sidelines. "It seems like in the second game her shouts were a bit weak, that's why I lost," Ayu replied jokingly.

Regi also admitted that Ayu's opponent is indeed tough, making the chances of winning smaller. Nevertheless, Ayu still expressed her gratitude for the support given by her husband.

"The opponent is really skilled, so the hope is slim," said Regi. "Thanks for the support, what matters is a good fight," Ayu added.

According to Regi, he always tries to be present when Ayu competes, as long as time and conditions allow. Ayu herself feels grateful for her husband's presence.

"As much as possible, I come if allowed. Earlier, she hinted 'if you want to come, just come' that's why I came," said Regi. "Thank you, keep supporting Indonesian sports," Ayu said proudly.

They also revealed that playing padel has become one of their quality time activities. In fact, Ayu mentioned that there is always time to play together at least once a week.
