Rossa Reveals Her Closeness with Ryeowook SUPER JUNIOR and Invites Him to Duet in Her Concert

Kapanlagi.com - Rossa successfully invited Ryeowook from Super Junior to duet in the series of concert tours for her album 'Another Journey: The Beginning' on December 1, 2023. The concert, held at Ballroom Trans Convention Center Bandung, was packed with more than 4200 Rossa's fans and Super Junior's ELF (fans). There were even many audience members who came from abroad, such as Malaysia, Brunei, and Singapore, specifically to watch this concert.

Being able to participate in Rossa's concert, Ryeowook felt very honored. He also admitted that he was very happy to come to Bandung for the first time. Despite being busy promoting his latest single, Ryeowook could not refuse Rossa's invitation.

"I feel very honored to perform at noona Rossa's concert. And this is my first time coming to Bandung. Actually, I have been very busy lately promoting my latest single in several countries. But because it was noona Rossa who asked me, I couldn't refuse," said Ryeowook while on stage.

In the concert, Ryeowook sang four songs, namely 'Hati Yang Kau Sakiti (Korean Version)' combined with the Indonesian version. Then he continued by singing the song 'Tegar' as a duet. Ryeowook explained that this song holds special memories in Indonesia when he held the 'World Tour Super Junior SS7S' concert in 2019.

In addition to performing Rossa's song, Ryeowook also performed his solo song titled 'The Little Prince' and his latest song titled 'Its Ok'. This is the first time Ryeowook performed his new song live in Southeast Asia. It is rumored that Ryeowook was paid IDR 500 million for one song. It is estimated to be billions of rupiah for the four songs performed by Ryeowook in this concert.

2. Reasons Why Rossa Invited Ryeowook

Rossa also told the beginning of how she could invite Ryeowook to her concert. She also didn't expect that her invitation would be warmly welcomed by Ryeowook.

"I'm really happy because not everyone can invite (Ryeowook) like that. Well, I'm really happy because I can invite my friend Ryeowook, we haven't met for a long time, the last time we met was at Super Show 2019, and during the pandemic, we exchanged news and everything," said Rossa in a video received by Kapanlagi.

"Well, Ryeowook once parodied my song which happened to be modeled by Donghae. So when I had a concert, who else was involved in the album The Journey. Oh, just Ryeowook, so I just DM him. When I DM, he (said) okay, it was like a week later that he replied. So, after he said okay, our managements exchanged information and it became official. I didn't expect it either," concluded Rossa.
