Ruben Onsu's anger towards the perpetrator who slandered his family is not without reason. He stated that the perpetrator deliberately provoked and showed no remorse at all, even after being warned.

According to Ruben, the perpetrator intentionally edited and cut videos to create a negative narrative. This is what made him very disappointed, especially because the content involved his underage children.

"I am very disappointed here because there is a child involved, you know. Especially since he is cropping it, he is deliberately editing it," said Ruben Onsu at the Metro Jaya Police, Thursday (31/7/2025).

Ruben had actually tried to give a gentle warning. However, the response he received was unexpected, where the perpetrator actually became more brazen and seemed to challenge.

"Wow, that... when I had already warned him, he actually continued to do it deliberately. Challenging everyone who warned him like that," he said.

Previously, Ruben also expressed his intention to meet directly, but there was no positive response. The perpetrator continued to repost the defamatory content as if he did not care about the warnings given.

"From him, there is no good intention, right? Instead, he deliberately captured it again, then posted it again, and kept posting it. For me, that's enough, that's it," he said.

This challenging attitude is what finally made Ruben's patience run out. He feels there is no other way but to take legal action in accordance with the regulations in force in Indonesia.

"So, actually, I don't want things like this. But this is already, it's the way that I think follows the correct regulations, making a report," Ruben explained.

By reporting to the police, Ruben hopes that his meeting with the perpetrator can later be mediated officially by the authorities. He wants the process to go according to the correct legal corridors. "So that later my meeting with him can be at the police station," he said.
